The six projects—formally known as the Bold Ideas for Academic Innovation and Excellence—were chosen through a competitive proposal process and draw on partnerships from Cambridge, Mass., to London, England.

Above all, the Bold Ideas exemplify the level of scholarship and research present on our campus, as well as our faculty’s penchant for curricular design that responds to a rapidly changing world.

To take this work to scale, TO BE BOLD will:

  • FUND BOLD IDEAS, making them into a calling card for Stonehill and proving our academic and research prowess.
  • RECRUIT AND RETAIN FACULTY who lead in their fields and who inspire and mentor our students inside and outside the classroom.
  • POSITION STONEHILL COMPETITIVELY, as we prepare students for careers many of them will have to invent.
